Welcome to Citrus Springs

For peace, tranquility, and the small-town atmosphere, look no further than Citrus Springs. Located in Citrus County, along Florida's Nature Coast, this community is the perfect residential area for active adults, naturalists, and young families.

Much of Citrus Springs retains its natural charm and beauty. Preserving as much of the native vegetation and environment as possible, including the pristine Rainbow River and Spring, nature lovers, outdoorsmen, fishermen, boaters, and golfers will find their haven.

Citrus Springs Golf & Country Club is one of the finest golf courses in the area, offering residents challenging holes with rolling hills and numerous hazards. The course is carefully kept, reflecting the quality of its surrounding neighborhood. There are a number of other fine public courses just minutes away: El Diablo Golf & Country Club (voted one of the best in the nation), Rainbow Springs Golf & Country Club, Twisted Oaks Golf & Country Club, and Citrus Hills Golf & Country Club are just a few to discover. If golf is not your forte, Citrus Springs also offers great tennis courts.

A variety of waterways in the area provide excellent recreational opportunities for boaters and fishermen. The Rainbow River is perhaps best known for "tubing," where swimmers can float along the gentle current, relaxing and taking in the natural beauty along the banks. Boaters also enjoy the river for its crystal clarity and crisp, refreshing temperature. Both the Crystal and Homosassa rivers are also spring-fed and are great for freshwater fishing. These rivers feed into the Gulf of Mexico, which have been known to yield record-size fish.

Don't let the community's natural environment fool you, though. There is plenty in the way of modern amenities. Great dining opportunities are just minutes away in Beverly Hills, Crystal River, and Dunnellon. From fine to casual dining and everything in between, there is a place to satisfy every taste.

Incorporating both a traditional country atmosphere with modern conveniences, Citrus Springs is the perfect balance between the two. Investing in real estate can be a wise choice, so why not invest it in an area you are sure to love?
